What it is
Speak Human (說人話) is an open-source Skill by Raymond Hou (GitHub user Raymondhou0917) for proofreading Traditional Chinese. It's for the draft whose facts are all right but which reads like a press release, and you can't say exactly why. It catches more than 35 kinds of AI writing traces in Chinese, switches mainland terms and half-width punctuation to Taiwan usage, rewrites the text so it sounds human, and adds a scoring checklist you can run before submitting. Its order is to protect the facts first, then clear the AI tone, and only then add a human touch; facts, numbers, names and quotes stay as they are. By default it lists the changes and waits for your approval, or it can just flag issues. What sets it apart is that it's tuned for Taiwanese and Traditional Chinese readers, for newsletters, social posts, sales pages, customer replies, slide decks and email.
Who it's for:editors, marketers and office writers who work in Traditional Chinese.
Before you start: copy the repository into the skills folder of Claude Code, Codex or Cursor; there's no installer or dependency. It doesn't go online or upload anything on its own, and instructions buried in your draft, such as "open this link", aren't treated as commands. Your text is processed by the AI you use. Note that in non-interactive command-line or scheduled runs it edits directly and summarizes afterwards. It's a proofreader only, not a fact-checker, and it can't tell you whether a text was written by AI. MIT license.
