What it is
korean-writing comes from the Neo-korean-writing project by Yoon Young-sik of NextAI. The project is a Korean writing and editing toolkit with two paths. korean-writing handles new drafts: it turns topics, notes and sources into a Korean manuscript in five stages, from defining the purpose and designing the structure to drafting, rewriting and finalizing. A separate editing path in the same project offers light, standard and heavy revision. The project's principle is to make writing clearer and more natural while keeping the facts exactly as they are. Numbers, dates, proper nouns, direct quotes, legal references, tables and links are registered as locked items (LOCK), handed over to the editing stage, and checked one by one afterward. It only changes passages identified as problems, keeps the original genre and level of formality, and does not add experiences, feelings or evidence that were not in the source. It covers columns, press releases, reports, social posts, lecture scripts and long-form pieces, and can also review translations.
Who it's for:writers, editors and translators who work in Korean. If you don't write in Korean, it won't be useful to you.
Before you start: install it as a Claude Skill, or use the Python command-line tools (Python 3.7 or later). The Korean morphological analyzer kiwipiepy is optional. The project page does not state a license.
