About the film
Warped Memories is an experimental documentary short by Brazilian creator Pedro Bayeux, finished in 2026 and running about eight minutes. It's hosted on caisroom, CloudWalk's curated platform for AI cinema. The synopsis opens by saying that in the rush to consume the future, we've forgotten memory was never meant to be efficient; it was meant to be ours. Set in a fictional São Paulo, the film follows a 30-year shift from the physical texture of the 1990s to the dreamlike images of latent space (the internal mathematical space an AI model uses to represent images). The screening page lists Eleven Labs, Kling AI, Gemini, Midjourney, Nano Banana, TOPAZ and VEO, so the latent space the synopsis talks about is also where these tools made the film's images. It was selected for the Best A.I Emotion Film section of the World AI Film Festival (WAIFF).
Who it's for:viewers interested in city memories, the look of the 1990s and how technology changes what we remember.
Before you watch: it plays publicly on caisroom; we haven't played it ourselves. About eight minutes; language and subtitles aren't listed. The creator lists other awards on his own site, which we haven't checked with the organizers, so we leave them out. No reuse rights are granted.
Based on the caisroom screening page and the WAIFF website. Watch the film itself for the full picture.
How AI was used
The caisroom page lists Eleven Labs, Kling AI, Gemini, Midjourney, Nano Banana, TOPAZ and VEO. It doesn't say which tool was used for which step.
