What it is
XiaohongshuSkills is a Xiaohongshu (Rednote) tool by GitHub user white0dew. It drives the browser with Python and the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP). The README says it works in Skill-capable tools such as Claude Code and OpenCode.
It can read your feed, search notes, open note details and comments, view profiles and their notes, check the "comments and @mentions" inbox, and pull creator-dashboard stats like impressions, views and likes, with CSV export. On the account side it can upload image notes and videos, post, comment, reply, like and save, and undo likes and saves. Each account keeps its login in its own Chrome profile, so several accounts stay separate.
Who it's for:People who run one or more Xiaohongshu accounts and can set up a Python environment. Readers who don't write code won't get much from it.
Before you start: You need Python 3.10 or later and Google Chrome, with dependencies installed through pip; the README says it has only been tested on Windows. The first time, you scan a QR code in the Chrome window it opens, or have it return the QR image. Login state lives in local Chrome profiles under a XiaohongshuProfiles folder, and the account list is in the repo's config/accounts.json. The review found no step that uploads login data to another third party; if you connect a remote Chrome, the session runs through the machine you chose. It runs a headless Chrome in the background. Its default publishing flow clicks publish for you; add --preview to stop short of posting. An agent can also comment, reply and like on its own, and all of it shows up publicly under your account. Installation doesn't use curl piped to bash, and the core code doesn't call any paid AI API. If you use these account automation features, weigh the safety risks and Xiaohongshu's platform rules yourself. AI Inspiration World is not responsible for any consequences. MIT license.
