Vibe-Skills

Vibe-Skills (also VibeSkills, formerly VCO Skills Codex Ecosystem) is a Skill routing and development runtime by GitHub user foryourhealth111-pixel. The README describes it as a general-purpose Skill that automatically routes local Skills and orchestrates harness workflows. Listed here as the whole repo, including the main runtime and bundled components.

Its process includes a freeze step: requirements and the plan are locked first, then work is delegated and verified, and each run leaves session records, a manifest and decision notes you can look back on. It supports Claude Code and Codex and has a host-neutral entry point.

Who it's for:Developers with lots of local Skills who want AI to follow a fixed process and keep a trail. Readers who don't write code won't get much from it.

Before you start: The current public install is to download the -public.zip from a release, check its SHA, then run the local install.ps1 or install.sh from the unzipped folder, which writes to a vibe folder in the Skills directory you choose; you need Bash or PowerShell, and Python. It reads your task text, working directory and the local Skill folders you declare, and writes run sessions, manifests, decisions and install receipts. The install docs say it doesn't auto-install Chrome, Playwright or other MCPs and doesn't change Codex or Claude settings; on reinstall it refuses to overwrite if the receipt doesn't match and keeps backups. At runtime it uses your host agent's tools, there's no single list of cloud services or paid APIs, and it isn't guaranteed to stay offline. Host AI costs are separate. Apache-2.0 license; bundled third-party components have their own licenses. Mostly English, with a Chinese README.
