What it is
UML Drawing Skill is a UML diagram Skill by BESSER (GitHub organization BESSER-PEARL). Give it a plain-language description or some code, and the agent pulls out classes, attributes, inheritance and relationships, turns them into a BESSER B-UML model, and generates a UML diagram.
It belongs to the author's BESSER-Skills set and is listed with it. BESSER-Skills also includes four knowledge packs for the BESSER platform, besser-user, besser-generators, besser-troubleshooting and besser-dev, and UML Drawing Skill is the companion focused on diagrams.
Who it's for:Developers and students who need class diagrams for a project or design doc. Readers who don't write code won't get much from it.
Before you start: Install with npx skills, or copy the uml-drawing folder. By default it uses curl to send the B-UML model extracted from your code to BESSER's public service at https://editor.besser-pearl.org/besser_api/get-svg and gets an SVG back. The model includes your internal class names, attributes and relationships, and the service doesn't say how it stores them. You can also import the model into the BESSER editor by hand.
