What it is
test-triage is part of the build-macos-apps plugin for Codex and handles failing tests in Xcode or SwiftPM projects. It identifies the test framework, starts with the smallest likely failing target and holds off on the full suite, and classifies each failure as a build error, assertion failure, crash, timing flake or similar. When a specific case fails, it reruns only that case. It separates compile failures from test failures, flags tests that assume iOS-only or simulator-only behavior, and marks probable flakes as uncertain. The report gives the exact command, the failing scope and category, a short root cause and the next step.
Who it's for:developers on Mac or Swift projects who often get stuck on failing tests. If you don't write code, it won't be useful to you.
Before you start: you need macOS and Xcode or a Swift toolchain. Check the repository for license terms.
