What it is
This tarot skill by GitHub user daman-ovo-0404 works with Cursor, Claude Code, and OpenClaw, and its documentation is in Chinese. It covers all 78 cards, and the author says the meanings blend Rider-Waite, Thoth, and modern psychological tarot. There are six spreads: a single card, three cards, five cards, the moon spread, the horseshoe, and the Celtic Cross. A Python script in the repo draws the cards. The author says it uses "a cryptographically secure random source" plus position weights, a time-of-day factor, and upright or reversed odds, and the --seed option lets you repeat the same draw. Our check found that the secure source only sets the seed, and the draw after that is weighted, so not every card has the same chance of turning up. Your AI handles the reading, following the author's method for reading how cards relate to each other, a list of vague stock phrases it must avoid, and separate rules for any sign of self-harm. Its most unusual feature is that the draw runs locally and can be replayed with the same seed.
Who it's for:Tarot fans who want an AI to draw cards with them and help sort out their thoughts. Installing it takes a bit of command-line work.
Before you start: Copy the repo into ~/.cursor/skills/tarot/, ~/.claude/skills/tarot/, or ~/.agents/skills/tarot/. It needs Python 3 and uses only the standard library. SKILL.md hard-codes a path from the author's own computer, so change it to your install path or the script won't run. Your question is passed to the script as a command-line argument, so it may stay in your terminal or AI history. The project doesn't upload anything, and the reading comes from whichever AI model you use. No extra API key is needed, and model costs are yours. The README says MIT, but the full license text isn't in the repo. The author says it won't give advice on medical, legal, investment, or major life decisions. AI Inspiration World does not recommend using it for health, medical, or investment decisions.
