What it is
swiftui-ui-patterns is part of the build-ios-apps plugin for Codex and is used when building or reworking SwiftUI screens. It first identifies the interaction model, such as a list, detail view, editor, settings screen or tab layout, then applies consistent patterns. State uses the narrowest tool that fits: @State for local UI, @Binding for child edits, and @Observable on iOS 17 and later. Views stay small and focused, keeping layout, logic, networking and formatting apart. Async work uses async/await with .task and explicit loading and error states, and sheets own their actions and dismiss themselves. It also asks for a successful build after changes, plus previews and accessibility labels for interactive elements.
Who it's for:developers building iPhone apps with SwiftUI. If you don't write code, it won't be useful to you.
