What it is
swiftpm-macos is part of the build-macos-apps plugin for Codex. Swift Package Manager (SwiftPM) is Apple's package manager and build tool for Swift. When a project is driven by Package.swift, or when SwiftPM is simpler than Xcode, this Skill reads Package.swift to list the executables, libraries and tests; builds with swift build, without switching to release mode unless asked; runs products with swift run; reruns only the tests known to fail; and diagnoses errors by category, such as dependency resolution, linking, runtime and test regressions. It also notes that a pure package may have no .app, and a library-only package can't be run directly.
Who it's for:developers writing Swift command-line tools or libraries. If you don't write code, it won't be useful to you.
Before you start: you need macOS and a Swift toolchain. Check the repository for license terms.
