What it is

Stitch Design Skills is a set of skills and plugins from Google Labs (GitHub org google-labs-code) for Stitch, Google's AI design tool. It comes in three groups: design skills generate screens from text or images and turn existing front-end code into Stitch designs; build skills turn Stitch screens into React or React Native components or a walkthrough video; utility skills polish prompts and write DESIGN.md specs. What sets it apart is that it moves both ways between design and code, and it follows the Agent Skills open standard, so Codex, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Claude Code and Cursor can all install it.

Highlights:

react-components splits a design into modular Vite and React components and validates them
stitch-loop builds a multi-page site from one prompt
react-vite-dashboard includes patterns for dashboards that read blockchain contract data
the README says it has no official Google support.

How to use:

First set up the Stitch MCP server following Stitch's docs.
Then install the plugins, for example npx plugins add google-labs-code/stitch-skills --scope project --target claude-code in Claude Code.
Finally give the agent a task such as "Convert all screens in my Stitch project to React components."

Developers who design in Stitch and then build the front end.

Before you start:

You need Node and a Google account with Stitch access, with the Stitch MCP and its credentials set up first.
Designs and screenshots are uploaded to Stitch, and some flows fetch pages online.
Some flows install puppeteer globally.
The Web3 dashboard skill covers wallet connection and contract reads; its docs say to stay read-only and never embed private keys.
