What it is
skills-presentations is a set of presentation Skills by Aaron Vanston (GitHub user aaronvanston), with defaults based on his own live presenting style that you can adapt. There are five: presentation-outline plans structure and order; presentation-content writes short, punchy headlines and points; presentation-design guides layout, type and color for dark slides; presentation-notes writes speaker notes; presentation-pitch-deck builds investor decks meant to be read alone, using Sequoia and YC frameworks. The README says it works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other coding assistants. At the top of the README the author notes these Skills have been merged into a newer repo, aaronvanston/agent-skills, and this one is kept for backwards compatibility.
Highlights:
- Five Skills split the work into outline, copy, design, notes and pitch deck
- the style leans dark, high-contrast and low on text
- notes are short prompts for the speaker, not full scripts.
How to use:
- First run npx skills add aaronvanston/skills-presentations.
- Then have your agent outline the talk and write each slide.
- Finally ask for speaker notes.
Who it's for:
People preparing a talk, demo day or fundraising deck who want slides that are short and sharp.
Before you start:
