What it is
PPT Design Skill by sunchaokun is a presentation Skill with a Python runtime, aimed at native PPTX files you can edit in PowerPoint. It offers three modes: Build Mode, FreeStyle and VI Build. The author recommends Build Mode for formal decks because it plans each slide, locks the visual direction and controls layout precisely. After generating, it renders the PPTX to PDF and PNG, reviews each page, reworks as needed, then delivers. It supports Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and others.
Who it's for:Professionals who give formal presentations and need editable PPT files.
Before you start: Clone the repo and register the Skill with installer/install.py; the root install.py only installs the Python runtime package. Making PPTX doesn't require LibreOffice, but the PDF and PNG review needs a working render backend. --force reinstalls the Skill and runtime; --render-deps is an option you add on purpose that uses winget to install render dependencies. Docs are mainly in Chinese. License: MIT.
