What it is
power-design is a Claude Code Skill by Jack Roberts (GitHub user ItsssssJack) that makes two things: slide decks and responsive websites, both as HTML. It first asks whether you want a deck or a site, then which brand style to use. You can paste a URL and have it pull colors, fonts, logo and voice through Firecrawl, pick one from the bundled brand style library, or skip and use a neutral house style. What sets it apart is that its layout rules are written as checklists with real numbers, 20 for slides and 20 for the web, drawn from sources such as Tufte, Krug and WCAG 2.2, and every output is checked against them.
Highlights:
- One set of brand details can produce a deck or a website
- the library keeps one brand-style.md per brand, with colors, type, voice and a source URL
- you can add your own brand from the included template
- the web rules cover mobile-first layout, a speed budget and WCAG 2.2 AA.
How to use:
- First run git clone https://github.com/ItsssssJack/power-design ~/.claude/skills/power-design.
- Then in Claude Code say use power-design plus your request, such as a launch deck in a given site's brand style.
- Finally open the generated slides.html or site.html in your browser and keep refining in chat.
Who it's for:
Makers, marketers and product teams who need decks or landing pages that look consistent and finished.
Before you start:
- You need Claude Code.
- Pulling brand details from a URL uses the Firecrawl service, which reads that page online.
- The brand library holds other companies' public visual styles; check trademark and usage rules before using another brand's look in public material.
- Claude and Firecrawl costs are separate.
- The repo has an MIT license file, which also notes that the brand style content in brands comes from VoltAgent/awesome-design-md and stays under its original copyright.
