What it is
This is a set of product and engineering planning methods from Matt Lane (GitHub user mattlane66), and the README says you can use the Skills right inside your AI tools. The 15 Skills run from gathering material and writing requirements to comparing options, and once a person picks one, slicing it into small, testable implementation steps. It comes with an offline docs site, a Shaping Board and a read-only Product Ontology view. The board itself doesn't connect to any AI account.
Who it's for:Product managers, tech leads and solo builders turning an idea into a clear plan.
Before you start: Install it as a Claude Code plugin, a Codex marketplace plugin or a Gemini Skill, or zip the Skills and upload them to Claude. The optional MCP adapter needs Node and npm, and Python can generate the views. It writes planning files and decision records on your machine, and your AI sees the project material you hand it. The repo includes 3 hook scripts; the review didn't confirm whether installing the plugins registers them automatically. If you use these features, weigh the safety risks yourself.
