What it is

Novel Claude AI is a Skill by GitHub user leenbj for writing long novels in Chinese; the README says it covers everything from a vague idea to a finished work of up to 3 million characters. You open a book with one command and confirm five basics such as target readers, writing style and no-go topics; it then sets up the project and writes the main plot plan. For every chapter, the AI first rereads the relevant earlier chapters, drafts a beat sheet, expands it into the chapter and runs a quality check. What sets it apart is five layers that keep a long story on track: a quality gate per chapter, plot retrieval, a knowledge graph of characters and settings, outline progress anchors, and cross-review by a second agent.

How to use:

First run the install command for your tool from the README, for example bash scripts/install-portable-skill.sh --tool claude-code --force.
Then start a book with /一键开书书名="书名" 题材=历史剧情种子="一句话概述核心剧情".
Finally move chapter by chapter with /继续写, and use /修复本章 if a check fails.

Before you start:

You need an AI coding tool that supports Skills.
To use other models, you can add a config file with keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Kimi or GLM, or point it at a local model; with cloud models, your manuscript is sent to that service and its charges apply.
There's also a feature for imitating the style of existing novels, which the author marks as partly done, so mind copyright before imitating someone else's work.
The repo has no separate license file, so check with the author before reusing it.
