Liuyao Agent Skills

Liuyao Agent Skills is a set of skills for Liuyao (an I Ching divination method that builds a hexagram from six casts), made by GitHub user songgoldenwind-crypto. The repo holds two rule sets. liuyao-divination is the general reading method, working through the world line, the use god, the two sources, and "illness and remedy." liuyao is a layered method built on the original casting time, the ruling day, and the order in which moving lines act. The author says each set keeps to its own method and the two aren't mixed. A chart-casting module is included too. It works out the original and changed hexagrams, the Najia stems and branches, the six relations, the world and response lines, and the void branches, and the AI then reads the chart by the rules. Its most unusual feature is that it judges a question in stages. A job question, for example, is split into whether the job exists, whether the hiring process starts, getting an interview, the conditions for an offer, and settling into the job, so seeing the "official" line in the hexagram doesn't jump straight to an offer. Market direction and whether you personally make money are judged separately as well. The author states that every reading is a judgment within this divination system and shouldn't be written up as proven fact.

Who it's for:People who know some Liuyao and want an AI to check charts and give readings by fixed rules. If you've never touched Liuyao, expect a lot of jargon.

Before you start: The installer needs Python 3.10 or later. Running python3 scripts/install.py installs to the standard skills folder. Adding --agent all --scope user installs into the user folders of several AI tools at once, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. If a folder with the same name already exists, the installer stops, and it only replaces it when you add --force. If you'd rather skip the command line, the README says the zip files on the Releases page can be uploaded to Claude on the web, and to ChatGPT if your account has a skill upload option. The chart module also needs Node.js 20 or later and npm, and npm link registers a liuyao-paipan command on your computer. The module includes an optional HTTP service whose code doesn't limit connections to your own machine, so leave it off if you don't need it. Your question and casting time are processed by whichever AI model you use. The topics include health and stock and futures markets. The author says it won't derive illness names or treatment outcomes from a hexagram, and that reading the market right isn't the same as making a profit yourself. AI Inspiration World does not recommend using it for health, medical, or investment decisions. No extra API key is needed, and model costs are yours. MIT license.
