What it is
karpathy-llm-wiki is a Skill by Yuhan Lei (Astro-Han) that implements the LLM wiki idea Andrej Karpathy described publicly. The repo is maintained by Yuhan Lei, not by Karpathy. It works in three steps: put sources in a raw/ folder, have your agent compile them into knowledge pages in wiki/, then ask questions with citations and run consistency checks. Unlike a regular notes app, it keeps raw material and curated knowledge in separate folders and recompiles the pages as sources change. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other Agent Skills tools.

Before you start: Copy the whole folder or install with the skills CLI. It doesn't install scheduled jobs, so ask your agent to recompile when you want an update. Model costs follow your host. Docs are mainly in English. License: MIT.
