Impeccable

Impeccable is a design Skill by Paul Bakaus, summed up on its repository page as "Design guidance for AI coding agents." It has one main Skill and 24 design commands, pairing design review by the model with rule-based automatic checks, with a focus on typography, color, layout and accessibility. The README says it grew out of Anthropic's frontend-design Skill. It writes design notes such as PRODUCT.md and DESIGN.md into your project so later changes follow them, and a live mode lets you see changes in a local browser as you go. It has more than 78,000 stars on GitHub.

Before you start: You need an AI coding tool that can read Skills; install with npx impeccable install, or copy the files or add the plugin. It comes with a local program that, on first run, downloads the version for your system from GitHub, checks its checksum before running it, and caches it in a ~/.impeccable folder on your computer. Installed as a plugin, it adds hooks that run automatically when a session starts, when files are edited and when a session ends. Live mode starts a local server and temporarily adds development code to your project, and asks for your consent before changing security settings. Your project's contents go to whichever AI service you use along with model requests. The license is Apache-2.0, and model costs depend on your tool. Documentation is in English.
