What it is
Holo Card Studio is a Codex Skill by GitHub user EverettFish. Describe the card you want, or upload a reference image, and Codex draws four layers (subject, background, line art and text), builds a Blender scene with parallax and holographic shine, and assembles a Three.js web page. You get a link to a card you can drag, flip and tune with sliders, a card.blend project file and rendered images. Besides holographic cards, the repo has a second route for two-image lenticular cards. Unlike most image tools, it hands you a Blender project that is genuinely editable, with material nodes named in Chinese, so you can open it and see how the shine works. The author says the page is responsive and works on phones in either orientation; the README credits a tutorial by Xiaohongshu creator "乌托邦的香蕉" for the approach.
Who it's for:Anyone who wants a shiny keepsake card of a pet, a friend, a game character or an event, and doesn't mind some setup in Codex.
Before you start: The README only covers Codex: put the whole folder in ~/.codex/skills/holo-card-studio/. You need Python 3, Pillow, Node.js and npm. If Blender isn't installed, the pipeline downloads the official portable build into the project's tools folder and checks its SHA-256; an existing Blender is used first. The pipeline copies files into the project's web folder and overwrites files with the same name. Reference photos you upload go to the image tool your Codex setup uses, and where they go or how long they're kept isn't stated. Docs are in Chinese and English. The code is MIT; the LICENSE notes that your reference images and the cards you make are not covered by it. Image generation and other services are billed by their providers.
