What it is
hiring-panel-skill is a Claude Code Skill by Alex Chen. The README describes it as seven Claudes trying to reject your resume, after which it rebuilds the resume with every mistake fixed. You provide your resume and the job description, and each run calls 8 subagents: 7 play generic reviewer roles such as recruiter or CEO, and 1 does a final check. The reviewers are simulated, and nothing is sent to a real HR team. Feedback goes into .hiring-panel/<date>-<name>/PANEL.md and the revised resume into RESUME-IMPROVED.md in the same folder. SKILL.md says never to invent employers, titles, dates, numbers or skills; missing details are left as [ADD:...] for you to fill in. That rule lives in the model's instructions, so you still need to check the result yourself.
Who it's for:Job seekers already using Claude Code who want a tough review of their resume before they apply.
Before you start: Install from the Claude plugin marketplace, or copy the skills/hiring-panel folder by hand. You need Claude Code with working subagents; the docs are in English. Your resume and job description go into the context of Claude and all 8 subagent calls. The author says it is free, with no signup and no API key. That means the Skill itself costs nothing extra; the 8 calls per run count toward your Claude plan. MIT license.
