What it is
Hallmark is a repository from the GitHub user Nutlope, credited in the README to Together AI. For each brief it first picks a page structure, then applies one of 21 themes, and before output it runs 57 checks for common AI design habits plus a self-review, so different briefs don't end up as the same page in different colors. Besides building new interfaces, it has three other modes: audit scores existing code against known anti-patterns, redesign rebuilds the layout while keeping the copy and information structure, and study pulls the design traits from a screenshot or URL and can write them to a design.md file. The site usehallmark.com shows more than a dozen example projects.
Who it's for:developers and designers who build web pages with coding agents and find AI-made interfaces too template-like.
Before you start: install with `npx skills add nutlope/hallmark`; it supports Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. The repository is essentially a single SKILL.md file with no backend service of its own. The README does not ask for an extra API key, and your host agent's model costs still apply. It reads the code, screenshots or URLs you give it. MIT license.
