What it is

GPT-Image2 Style Library (gpt-image-2-style-library) is an Agent Skill that GitHub user freestylefly publishes inside the awesome-gpt-image-2 repo; this entry covers only that Skill. It ships a template index generated from the repo's data, with 22 prompt templates across 13 categories such as UI and interfaces, infographics, poster layout, products and e-commerce, brand and logos, realistic photography, character design, historical and classical Chinese themes, and documents and publishing. Each template lists when to use it, how to write it, common pitfalls and matching example case numbers. You describe the image you want, and it matches by template category, then visual style tag, then scene tag, then the nearest example cases. If one template clearly fits it goes ahead; if several could work it offers two or three options for you to pick. The result is a copyable prompt organized into subject and task, composition and layout, style and materials, on-image text, aspect ratio and format, and constraints and things to avoid, with the template it used named. Ask in Chinese and the prompt comes back in Chinese; ask in English and it comes back in English. What sets it apart is the pitfall list attached to every template, with reminders such as locking the exact on-image text and not describing a platform too vaguely, so common failure points are handled while the prompt is being written.

Who it's for:content and visual creators who often write prompts for posters, product shots, infographics, UI screenshots or illustrations. It only writes the prompt; you still need an image generator to make the picture.

Before you start: the README recommends npx skills add with --skill gpt-image-2-style-library to install just this Skill; you can also add it from the Claude Code plugin marketplace or through its npm command-line tool. Note that the npm route with install all writes to ~/.codex/skills, ~/.claude/skills and ~/.agents/skills at once, deleting any folder with the same name before recreating it, so back up the Skill first if you've edited it. The Skill only picks templates and writes prompts. It needs no API key and doesn't generate images or post anything for you. It is written around GPT-Image2, and whether you can use a particular model depends on your own image tool. The same repo also contains a gallery website that requires Google sign-in and generates images with platform credits or a personal API key, with memberships and credit packs for sale, and the README's front page carries sponsor ads for several paid API platforms. None of these are needed by the Skill, and AI Inspiration World hasn't reviewed or endorsed them. The repo is MIT licensed, but the README says the cases were originally drawn from public community sources such as YouMind and OpenNana, that copyright stays with the original authors or platforms, and that it doesn't guarantee third-party content can be used commercially. Faces, characters and brands in the example images carry their own rights, so get permission from the rights holder before commercial use. The Skill instructions are in English, and the template index is bilingual Chinese and English.
