What it is

frontend-slides is a presentation Skill by Zara Zhang (zarazhangrui). Give it a topic and it builds an HTML slide deck; give it an existing PowerPoint and it converts it to web slides. The result is a local file you can present from a browser. It hands slide-making to a coding agent that's good at front-end work, so layout and motion can be tuned the way you'd tune a web page. It mainly targets Claude Code, and the README also lists Codex, Kimi Code, OpenCode, Gemini CLI and other tools that can read the core SKILL.md.

Who it's for:People who like presenting from a web page and don't mind adjusting styles.

Before you start: Install from the Claude plugin marketplace, or clone into ~/.claude/skills/frontend-slides. Copying by hand writes into an existing folder and may replace files with the same name. The repo includes deployment scripts such as scripts/deploy.sh that publish your slides to external hosting, so check where they go before using them. Model costs follow your host. Docs are mainly in English. License: MIT.
