What it is
Emil Kowalski Skills is a set of 15 Skills in which Emil Kowalski turns his years of interface design engineering into rules an AI assistant can follow. In the README he writes that AI doesn't replace such expertise; it amplifies what you can get out of it. Alongside the main emil-design-eng Skill there are focused Skills for animating, reviewing and improving animations, spotting where animation helps, animation performance, Apple-style design, writing Swift, picking a UI library, prototyping and native mobile feel, for both web and mobile. They were written by the author himself.
Who it's for:Designers and front-end engineers who build web or app interfaces with AI and want sharper motion and detail. Readers who don't write code won't get much from it.
Before you start: Install with npx skills@latest add. The Skills are Markdown guidance with no install scripts, in English. In use, your assistant reads and edits your project's interface code, runs tests, and installs UI libraries or Expo packages when needed; prototype deletes temporary prototype pages after you pick a direction unless you ask to keep them. Your project code goes through the AI assistant you use, and installing dependencies needs the internet. The repository has no account or fees of its own; your assistant's subscription is separate. MIT-licensed; third-party libraries and brands such as Apple have their own terms.
Based on the project's public documentation. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
