What it is
Content Skills is a set of English writing Skills by Artem Novitckii. The README says Claude, by default, hedges, over-explains and doesn't sound like you. We recommend four ready-made ones. dumbify rewrites anything at an 8th-grade reading level, easier to take in without dumbing down the idea. storytelling structures content around tension, turn and payoff. viral-hooks checks your opener against four things that kill hooks and rewrites it. anti-ai-writing strips tells like negative parallelism, recycled words and piles of em dashes. What sets it apart is that you don't need to install anything: copy a SKILL.md and paste it into a regular Claude chat, even on the free plan.
Who it's for:English content creators writing short-video scripts, marketing copy, teaching material and social posts.
Before you start: copying and pasting is the easiest route; you can also install the four folders into your agent's skills directory. The README says uploading custom Skills in the Claude app needs a paid plan with code execution turned on; check the official site for current details. The repository's fifth item, voice-dna, is a guide to building a profile of your own writing voice from about 20 of your posts, rather than a ready-made Skill, and it's outside what we recommend. If you try it, use only your own writing, and keep in mind those samples go to the AI. MIT license.
