What it is
claude-remotion-skill is an Agent Skill by GitHub user haidrrrry for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and claude.ai. Remotion is an open-source framework for making videos with React. With the Skill installed, you describe a video in plain words, and Claude writes the Remotion code and renders it. What stands out is a required check: after rendering, it pulls frames with ffmpeg, and Claude looks at them and fixes problems before delivering.
Highlights:
- SKILL.md sets 10 motion rules, such as no linear motion, staggered entrances and exits faster than entrances
- 17 copy-paste components such as text reveals, color grading, grain and captions
- it covers logo animations, brand intros, vertical clips, product explainers and animated captions.
How to use:
- First run git clone https://github.com/haidrrrry/claude-remotion-skill.git
- then copy the remotion-motion-graphics folder into ~/.claude/skills/, or upload the .skill file in Claude Desktop settings
- finally ask Claude for a 3-second logo sting and check that it reads the Skill and inspects frames.
Who it's for:
People already using Claude who want it to make better-looking motion videos in code.
Before you start:
