claude-job-skill was made by GitHub user mayankjoshii. The README calls it an AI-powered job search assistant for Indian professionals, built as a Claude Skill. It searches the Indian market by default and also lists markets abroad. To find jobs, it runs WebSearch with site: queries against public listings on Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed and similar sites, then opens the links to check them, with no login cookies involved. The AI adjusts the ATS keywords in your CV for each role and logs progress in job_tracker.xlsx. The README states that it will not apply for you; you send each application yourself. The SKILL file tells it never to lie: it won't add skills you don't have, and numbers must come from your CV or be verifiable.

Before you start: Copy SKILL.md by hand to ~/.claude/skills/job-skill; the repo has no install script or dependencies. Your CV, name, contact details, salary and location go into the Claude session you use. Check the ATS keyword rewrites yourself. AI Inspiration World recommends only manual searching, without connecting your email. We do not recommend connecting Gmail: once connected, it reads the subject, sender and outcome of emails from the companies you applied to. We also do not recommend the /job-skill automate nightly task. It creates a scheduled cloud job that scans every night (India time by default) and copies your full personal profile into each task's prompt. The README lists no fee from the author; whether scheduling works, and what it costs, depends on your Claude setup. The README says MIT, but the repo has no LICENSE file. At review time the default branch showed only one commit.
