claude-code-kit AI Skill

What it is

claude-code-kit is a Claude Code setup kit from the GitHub organization blencorp. Run one command in your project and it reads package.json and the project structure to detect your frameworks, asks which kits to install, then copies hooks, agents, commands and Skills into the project's .claude/ folder. After that, the matching Skill turns on by itself when you ask about, edit or write code that fits it. What sets it apart is skill-rules.json, which decides when each Skill fires from keywords, file paths and code patterns.

Finally confirm the detected frameworks and pick the kits you want.

Before you start:

You need Node.js and Claude Code.
Installing writes files into the project's .claude/ folder and sets up hooks.
Two default hooks run automatically every time you submit a prompt and after each tool action: one analyzes prompts to suggest Skills, the other tracks file changes.
Four optional hooks run type and build checks when a session stops, and one of them auto-launches a fixer agent when the build fails.
