What it is
Change Management Skill is a Claude Skill by GitHub user adhorn for recording and guiding changes that a person carries out, in production or not. The flow runs through planning, human review, operator execution, verification and lessons learned. The README is clear that it does not run the change: you run the commands and paste the output back, and it keeps the record and prompts the next step. Change records are saved as Markdown by customer, service and date, and committed to Git. The README says it has only been through dry runs and hasn't yet been used on a real production change.
Who it's for:Engineers and ops teams who handle releases and production changes and want a clear record of each one. Readers who don't write code won't get much from it.
Before you start: Copy the whole change-management folder into ~/.claude/skills or your project folder. You need a Claude client that supports Skills, plus Git. It reads the change target, rollback plan, review decisions and the command output you paste back. It can run Git init, add, commit, push and pull; once a remote is set up, records sync out, and they may include customer and production details.
