Tarot Reading Agent

Tarot Reading Agent (塔罗占卜 Agent) is a conversational tarot skill published by GitHub user WelcomeYe-star, based on the 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith deck. You ask a question, the AI decides how many cards to draw, and it guides you through drawing them one by one from a physical deck. You report each card's name and whether it's upright or reversed, and the AI reads them through spread positions, elements, astrology, and numbers. It comes with a knowledge base for all 78 cards, six spreads, and a rules engine that runs on your computer, and it understands casual phrasings such as "reversed Fool." It is explicit about which questions it will take: it sorts questions into ones suited to tarot, ones it can gently redirect, and ones it won't read at all, and it turns down medical, legal, and personal-safety questions and points you to professional help. The author says the point isn't accuracy; it treats tarot as a mirror for seeing yourself.

Before you start: Copy the repo's tarot folder into your AI tool's skills folder; the README uses WorkBuddy as its example (~/.workbuddy/skills/tarot/). The engine uses only the Python 3 standard library, with no extra dependencies or API key. Drawing and lookups happen on your computer and nothing saves your question online, but your question is processed by the AI service you use. The code is MIT licensed, the card meaning text is CC BY-SA 4.0, and the repo has no card images. AI Inspiration World does not recommend using it for health, medical, or investment decisions.
