What it is
Auto-Redbook-Skills is a Xiaohongshu (Rednote) note-writing Skill by GitHub user comeonzhj; the main Skill is called xhs-note-creator. Give it your material and it writes a Xiaohongshu note, then renders the Markdown in a browser into a cover image and page images. If you want, it can also publish the images, title, body, hashtags and location as an image note.
Published notes are private by default; add --public to make them public, or use --post-time to set the platform's scheduled publish time. It doesn't like, save, comment or follow. You can install it as a Claude Code plugin, or drop it by hand into the Skills folder for Claude, Alma or TRAE.
Who it's for:People who write Xiaohongshu image notes regularly and want an agent to handle both the writing and the images. The publishing part assumes you can set environment variables.
Before you start: Rendering needs Python, Playwright's Chromium and Node.js 18 or later. Writing and rendering don't need a login. To publish, you copy your Creator cookie from a logged-in Xiaohongshu creator dashboard into the XHS_CREATOR_COOKIE environment variable or a .env file in the project; it isn't stored encrypted. The review found no code that sends the cookie to another third party, but it didn't audit all of the bundled network code. For cookie-based publishing, the cookie stands in for your creator-dashboard login, so once the tool has it, it can post as you. Installation uses git clone, pip and npm, not curl piped to bash. If you use cookie-based publishing or other account automation, weigh the safety risks and Xiaohongshu's platform rules yourself. AI Inspiration World is not responsible for any consequences.
