What it is
asynkron-skills is a set of developer-tool Skills from Asynkron (GitHub organization asynkron). The README says they work with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Copilot. Each Skill teaches the AI agent to run an existing command-line tool and analyze the output, split into general and .NET groups. What sets it apart is that many Skills hook into the author's own tools, such as QuickDup for duplicate code, a .NET profiler and a test runner.
Highlights:
- /cloc counts lines of code and language breakdown, and compares two git refs
- /quickdup finds structurally similar code and gives 4 refactoring approaches
- /systematic-debug writes one small test per hypothesis and narrows the bug from the pass and fail pattern
- /hotmess reads git history to find groups of files that change together most.
How to use:
- First run /plugin marketplace add asynkron/asynkron-skills in Claude Code.
- Then run /plugin install asynkron-devtools@asynkron-marketplace.
- Finally call commands such as /cloc or /quickdup in chat.
Who it's for:
Developers who want an AI agent to help analyze a codebase, debug and tune .NET performance.
Before you start:
- You need an AI coding tool that supports Skills.
- Some Skills need extra command-line tools; for example /cloc needs cloc via brew install cloc, and the .NET tools run through dnx.
- /continue-loop saves loop state under $CODEX_HOME/state/continue-loop so the agent keeps taking the next step on its own until a stop condition.
- If you use these features, weigh the safety risks yourself.
