ApexYard

ApexYard is an open-source repo maintained by me2resh, with the LICENSE credited to ApexYard contributors; the author names Claude Code as the default driver. It is a governance setup for software teams running several projects, with role definitions, Skills, shell hooks, approval gates and release pipeline templates. Common commands include /setup, /handover to take over a repo, and /code-review for a pull request. Hooks and approval gates hold the process in place: a merge needs a person to approve the specific commit. The README also describes adapters for opencode, pi and Codex and support in the Cursor IDE; the Cursor CLI doesn't run the same hooks.

Who it's for:Tech leads who maintain several repos and want AI to code and ship through a fixed process. Readers who don't write code won't get much from it.

Before you start: Clone or fork the repo, then run /setup. It installs the 60 shell hooks listed in the README, and its adapter scripts rewrite your local agent configuration. Code review and other flows comment on GitHub pull requests and issues, the release pipeline creates releases, and code, logs and build artifacts go to the repos and services you configure. The optional macOS release template creates and unlocks a temporary keychain to import a signing certificate; the check found it reading only that temporary keychain, with no sign of it reading your existing browser or system passwords. The FastAPI CI template and the local model notes include install commands that download a script with curl and run it directly, and we don't recommend copying those as is. The documentation is in English only. The code is MIT; GitHub, CI, cloud and AI tool costs depend on each provider.
