What it is

This Skill is not made by Andrej Karpathy himself. It was put together by multica-ai (the Multica team) from views he has shared publicly. At its core is a single CLAUDE.md file that turns Karpathy's observations about the pitfalls of LLM coding into four general coding rules. Once you add it to a project, Claude Code follows them on every task. Besides the file, the repository offers Claude Code plugin and Skill installs and a rules file for Cursor. The README is available in English and Simplified Chinese.

Who it's for:developers who code with Claude Code or Cursor and want the AI to be more restrained and careful when it changes code. Not useful if you don't write code.

Before you start: install it from the Claude Code plugin marketplace, or download CLAUDE.md into your project; the file is plain instructions and doesn't run anything. The install path in the README still points to the old repository forrestchang/andrej-karpathy-skills, so check it when you install. The README states an MIT license, but the repository has no separate LICENSE file. Based on the project's public documentation. Not tested by AI Inspiration World.
