What it is
agent-rules-books is a set of rules and Skills by Maciej Ciemborowicz (ciembor), distilled from classic software engineering books on refactoring, architecture, domain-driven design (DDD) and code quality. Pick the books your project needs and use them as always-on AGENTS.md rules, folder-scoped rules or on-demand Skills, without stacking them all at once. It turns the methods in those books into rules your agent follows while writing code. It supports Codex, Cursor and Claude Code.
Who it's for:Developers who want AI-written code to keep to engineering standards. Not useful if you don't write code.
Before you start: Install everything with npx skills add ciembor/agent-rules-books --all, pick single Skills, or just use the project rule files. Model costs follow your host. Docs are mainly in English. License: MIT.
