My Ex Is the CEO

My Ex Is the CEO is an AI drama on Hongguo, a Chinese short-drama platform, with 95 episodes. It was No. 16 on Hongguo's AI drama hot chart when we checked. The official synopsis says the two fell in love young, split up against their will and meet again years later with a pile of misunderstandings between them. Chen Ye is an ordinary worker raising his niece on his own; through pressure at work and a few unexpected crises, the truth finally comes out. Unlike most CEO romances, the hero here lives a worker's life and looks after his niece, so the family story moves alongside the love story. Hongguo only says it belongs to its AI drama category. It doesn't say which AI tools were used or who produced it. The platform gives no English title, so the one here is our translation.

Who it's for:viewers who like reunion romances where old misunderstandings slowly get cleared up.
