About the film

The Paperclip Maximizer - Reimagined is an AI short by Jeff Synthesized, about five minutes long, built around a disaster, a secret organisation and artificial general intelligence (AGI). "Reimagined" means remake: the creator says what started as a quick reimagining of his earlier Paperclip Maximizer turned into much more. According to a repost of his original post, this version used Runway, Kling, Luma, Magnific, ElevenLabs, HeyGen and Topaz, plus three shots done in AE and CG. It won Best AI Film at the Czech International AI Film Festival (CIAIFF) 2024 and a Silver in the best film group at Neuro Masters 2025.

Who it's for:viewers who like science fiction and turning over questions about AI risk.
