The Great and Powerful Genie

The Great and Powerful Genie is a ReelShort original series of 51 episodes. Its official page says it's AI-generated animation, made in English. The official synopsis says Elijah Baran is a genie in a magic lamp who has spent thousands of years granting three wishes to generation after generation, secretly wanting only his freedom. Billionaire Steven Parrish offers a deal: marry his granddaughter Christine, stay a loyal husband for five years, and Elijah goes free. Elijah takes human form, hides who he is and helps Christine become a successful CEO, yet the kinder he is, the worse she treats him. After five years he divorces her, takes back everything he gave her and later meets someone who sees his worth. In an August 2026 article, "Top 10 Must-Watch AI Dramas," ReelShort ranked it No. 1, and the page still carried a TRENDING label when we checked. It moves the old three-wishes story into a modern marriage contract. The page doesn't say which AI tools were used.
