About the film
The Tycoon Cheat is an urban wish-fulfillment drama on Hongguo, a Chinese short-drama platform, with 2 seasons and 315 episodes: 149 in Season 1 and 166 in Season 2. The official synopsis for Season 2 says that on his first day of school, Gu Chuan gets bound to a tycoon system. Luxury cars, a mansion and company assets keep landing in his account, and his ex-girlfriend and several campus beauties come into his life. Through doubters, provocations and one system mission after another, he climbs his way up on campus and in business. Hongguo lists both seasons in its AI drama category, so every season has an official AI label. The pages don't name a producer.
Who it's for:viewers who like "system" stories and underdog wish fulfillment.
Before you watch: start with Season 1. Hongguo's website plays the first few episodes, and the page says you can watch every episode free in the Hongguo app; it doesn't explain how. The pages don't list the dialogue language, subtitles or episode length.
Based on Hongguo's official series pages and category page. AI Inspiration World has not watched it.
