About the film
Three Thousand Shelters is a long-running series on Hongguo, a Chinese short-drama platform, mixing time travel, an alien world and a "system" premise. One official synopsis reads: Chen Fan abandons the old camp and leads his team toward Dayu's village of natural ghost fire. In a public speech, China Literature CEO Hou Xiaonan said the company is building an industrial-scale AI video system on its story IP and AI technology, and named Three Thousand Shelters. What sets it apart is that the producer's own chief executive held it up as an AI video example. We found 16 seasons on Hongguo's official website: Season 1, Seasons 3 to 16 and Season 23, 757 episodes in all. We found no official web page for the other 19 (Season 2, Seasons 17 to 22 and Seasons 24 to 35), so we can't confirm the total episode count. None of the 16 seasons we found carries its own AI label on Hongguo.
Who it's for:viewers who like survival stories in strange worlds and can handle a very long series.
Before you watch: start with Season 1. Hongguo's website plays the first few episodes, and the page says you can watch every episode free in the Hongguo app; it doesn't explain how. We couldn't find web pages for some seasons; for the full season list, search the title in the Hongguo app. The pages don't list the dialogue language, subtitles or episode length.
