The Treasure Basin: The Mixed Root Is the Real Boss

The Treasure Basin: The Mixed Root Is the Real Boss is a fantasy drama on Hongguo, a Chinese short-drama platform. On Hongguo's website we found 15 seasons totaling 2,385 episodes. The official synopsis says He Pingsheng, working as a lowly servant, picks up a battered basin and discovers it can copy and strengthen things. What sets it apart is that its AI production is described in an official case study from SenseTime. The company says the series is a joint production of its Seko platform and Chenke Culture, and that once a user enters a script or creative idea, the Seko Agent automatically breaks it down and plans it out. The case study names Seasons 2, 3 and 4. For the other seasons we found no official AI label.

Who it's for:viewers who like cultivation fantasy and underdog stories, and who don't mind a very long series.

Before you watch: start with Season 1. The series is still being updated, so check Hongguo for the current number of seasons. Each season has an official page on Hongguo's website; watching in full usually means using the Hongguo app. We haven't checked whether every episode is free. The pages don't fully list the dialogue language, subtitles or episode length.
