About the film
In Another Breath was written and directed by Asi Oren and produced by Frame Workers Studio. It took first place, with a $5,000 prize, at Curious Refuge's 2026 Feel-Good AI Film Competition. According to the creator's Vimeo description, it starts with a sneeze on a crowded tram and the awkward moment it causes between two strangers, then imagines a bigger story growing out of that moment, about empathy and seeing each other again. The film has no dialogue and mixes felt-textured, handmade-looking worlds with live-action footage. The creator lists Kling, Nano Banana and Magnific as the AI tools used, with editing and finishing done in DaVinci Resolve.
Who it's for:Anyone who wants a quiet, wordless short about small kindnesses between strangers.
Before you watch: Free on Vimeo, about 3 minutes 15 seconds. No dialogue; subtitles are not stated.
