Frontier Blade

Frontier Blade is a period drama set in a fictional dynasty on Hongguo, a Chinese short-drama platform. Its official website lists 2 seasons and 939 episodes: 539 in Season 1 and 400 in Season 2. The official synopsis is a single line: he is a frontier soldier the court has forgotten, and she comes from a family of generals. Going by the title, the story follows the soldier as he fights his way up to a kingdom of his own. Season 1's first episode says on screen that the video was generated by AI. We found no AI label on Season 2's page. The pages don't name a producer.

Who it's for:viewers who like frontier battles and underdog stories and don't mind a long series.

Before you watch: start with Season 1. Hongguo's website plays the first few episodes, and the page says you can watch every episode free in the Hongguo app; it doesn't explain how. There are battle scenes; we haven't watched it, so we can't say how violent it gets. The pages don't list the dialogue language, subtitles or episode length.

Based on Hongguo's official series pages. AI Inspiration World has not watched it.
