What it can do
This is a set of ten interface prompts Zayn Hao shared on X, which he says you can send to Codex or Claude Code to improve a UI. Each one covers a single point. The first three remove the middle-dot separator, cut redundant explanatory text and rewrite interface copy for the people who use the screen. The other seven deal with colour, alignment, borders, animation, type sizes, interactions, and corners and shadows. For example, they ask the agent to switch to Radix UI Colors and follow its usage rules, use 0.5px borders, start any animation from ease-out at 250ms, and keep to no more than four type sizes with 12px as the smallest. The author says some of them reflect his own experience. What sets these apart is that each rule is a single instruction an agent can act on, and many come with concrete values it can check against. Send all ten to your coding agent and have it check and revise your current interface rule by rule.
Who it is for
Developers and solo product builders who use an AI coding agent such as Codex or Claude Code for web or app work and want a cleaner interface.
Before you use it
The author names Codex and Claude Code, and the agent will edit the code in your project directly, so commit or back up first. Rule 4 relies on the open-source Radix UI Colors palette, which you'll need to add if your project doesn't have it. The rules reflect the author's own preferences, such as 0.5px borders and a 12px minimum type size, so judge them against your users and screens. The author has not stated a reuse licence, so we show only the first three as an excerpt; see the author's post for all ten.
