What it can do
This is Instructa's open-source English rules library, with 97 topics of project rules and step-by-step setup prompts for AI coding tools, covering frameworks such as Next.js, React and Angular. The rules spell out coding standards and key cautions; the Fal.ai image-generation set, for instance, runs in seven steps, one of which insists the API key stay on the server. The README shows where Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Zed, Windsurf and Cline each read rules from. Put the rules for your topic where your tool reads its project configuration, and the AI will follow them as it writes code.
Who it is for
Front-end and full-stack developers who already use AI coding tools and want to set ground rules for a project. If you don't write code, you won't need it.
Before you use it
The rules are in English, and some templates target older framework versions, so check them against your project. Once rules are in a project's configuration, they keep shaping the AI's behaviour. Some topics have the AI install third-party clients, configure your own API keys, or wire in services such as payments and sign-in, which may cost money; we don't recommend running a whole set without reviewing it.
