What it is
Yarn Folk is a browser game by itch.io user todd_dillerson, playable in first or third person. Everything in town looks knitted from yarn. Moths are chewing the cables, and you drive them off, collect spools and restore power district by district. There is also farming, animal care and chatting with residents. The creator says the knitted art and the music were made offline with generative tools and then hand-picked: Flux and TRELLIS.2 for art, Grok for ground textures and ACE-Step for music. Sound effects and animations come from asset libraries, and the game design is the creator's own. The game does not call any AI service while you play.
Who it's for: Players who like a handmade look and want a bit of shooting action mixed into farm life.
Before you start: Free to play in the browser with keyboard and mouse, phone touch controls or a gamepad. The creator notes it needs a modern browser and a decent graphics card, and the 3D assets take a while to load the first time. The page is in English; other languages are not listed. The creator says progress is saved in the browser; whether scores are uploaded is not stated. No age rating or license for the whole game is given.
