Whispering Path

What it is

Whispering Path is a master's thesis prototype by itch.io creator NyonyaKim. You walk through a glowing pixel-art forest with WASD or the arrow keys, press E to interact, and type questions to your companion, Lumi, whenever you're stuck. The author says "Lumi is powered by a Large Language Model (OpenAI API)." For now there's a single Symbol Stones puzzle, so it isn't a full multi-level game yet. The fun part is solving the puzzle by asking an AI companion in your own words.

The author asks players to fill in a research survey afterward. We couldn't find how the survey stores data, so don't share personal details.
