What it is
Type Across America is a browser typing and geography game by sleepyowl108. You type the name of a neighboring US state based on clues, working your way northeast until you reach Maine, and you can visit each state only once. The clues are bits of local geography and culture, such as sports teams, universities or famous stories. Along the way you collect scenic postcards, and at the end you're scored on states visited and distance traveled. The author's AI disclosure on the page lists AI assistance for code, graphics and sounds, without naming a model. The game is made with Godot.
Who it's for: Players who want to practice typing while learning their way around the US states.
Before you start: It runs in the browser, and the author says a keyboard is required, so touch-only phones won't work well. itch.io lists it as free; check the game page for current terms. The page and clues are in English. The page's login prompt is for comments; we haven't checked whether playing needs an account, and the page doesn't say whether scores are uploaded. It gives no license for the game.
