What it is
Time's Labyrinth is an interactive fiction game by baroquedub, downloaded and played on Windows. The same day repeats over and over. Each time you choose who to talk to, and the characters' memory and trust in you move the story forward across 50 prewritten stories. Once a story's content runs out, you can keep chatting freely with the characters, and those replies come from an AI model installed on your computer. The author says the 50 stories were written from templates by a large language model (LLM), and the character portraits and backgrounds were generated with Stable Diffusion. The current version uses UndreamAI's LLM for Unity plugin running the gemma-3-4b-it model. The music is by Cathran.
